Healthcare software has a brutal honesty test: people use it when they are stressed, sick or caring for someone who is. It either helps in that moment or it gets deleted. We know because we build and operate our own health apps — and that experience shapes every healthcare engagement we take.
What we build for health organisations
Patient engagement and adherence tools. Reminders, check-ins, education and nudges that people actually keep using — the difference between a care plan on paper and one that happens. This is the territory of our own products, and the hard-won lesson is that tone and timing beat features.
Document automation. Intake forms, referrals, discharge summaries, insurance documents — OCR and understanding that turn paper and PDFs into structured data, and agents that route them to the right place with an audit trail.
Internal knowledge assistants. Protocols, formularies, policy documents — a grounded assistant that gives staff cited answers in seconds instead of a binder hunt, and says “check with the pharmacist” when confidence drops.
Health data workflows. Dashboards, reconciliation, monitoring — the unglamorous plumbing that care teams rely on, built with production discipline.
How we think about privacy
Health data deserves paranoia. Our defaults: collect the minimum, process on-device where feasible (a discipline learned shipping iOS health apps), encrypt everywhere, log access, and deploy inside your infrastructure so data never transits ours. When a feature can work without the sensitive field, it should.
Where we draw the line
We build wellness, engagement, adherence and operational software. We do not play at regulated diagnostics: if your idea crosses into medical-device or clinical-decision territory, we will tell you in the first call and help you scope what is buildable now versus what needs a regulatory pathway. Honesty about that boundary is cheaper for you than our enthusiasm would be.
If you are budgeting, the cost guide applies to health projects too — data readiness is usually the swing factor. Ready to talk it through? Get in touch.
