Policy Simulator

A what-if engine for high-stakes decisions.

Model the downstream impact of a rule, price or policy change before you ship it — thousands of agent-based scenarios, with the trade-offs explained in plain language.

What Policy Simulator does

Agent-based scenario modelling at scale
Real-time sensitivity & risk dashboards
Natural-language explanations of every outcome
Compare policy variants side by side before committing

Know what happens before it happens

Every organization ships decisions it can’t easily take back: a price change, a new eligibility rule, an operational policy. The direct effect is usually easy to predict. It’s the downstream effects — how thousands of people, customers or assets actually respond — that produce the expensive surprises.

Policy Simulator is a what-if engine built for exactly those moments. Describe the change you’re considering, and it runs thousands of agent-based scenarios: simulated populations responding to the new rule individually, not as an average. The result is a picture of what your decision actually does — including the feedback loops and edge cases a spreadsheet model quietly averages away.

Answers in plain language, not just charts

Simulation output is only useful if decision-makers can act on it. Policy Simulator pairs its risk and sensitivity dashboards with natural-language explanations of every outcome — what changed, who it affected, which assumption the result is most sensitive to. You don’t need a data-science team to interrogate the results; the trade-offs are spelled out in the language of the decision itself.

Piloting now

Policy Simulator is in active R&D. Its current test bed is an energy-policy simulation scenario, where policy and pricing changes are simulated against operational data before anything ships.

If you have a high-stakes decision on the horizon, we’d rather show you than tell you: request a demo and we’ll run the engine on a question that actually matters to you.

Frequently asked questions

Can I try Policy Simulator?

It's currently in R&D and running with pilot partners. Request a demo through our contact form and we'll walk you through it on a decision you actually face.

What kinds of decisions is it built for?

Any change where the second-order effects are the expensive ones — pricing changes, eligibility rules, operational policies, incentive structures. If shipping it wrong costs real money, it's worth simulating first.

What does "R&D stage" mean?

The engine works and is being piloted with real organizations, but it isn't a self-serve product yet. Pilot partners get hands-on access with our team alongside.

How is this different from a spreadsheet model?

Spreadsheets model averages; Policy Simulator models populations. Thousands of simulated agents respond to your proposed change individually, which surfaces the edge cases and feedback loops a top-down model averages away.
