The person who always remembers
Everyone has a version of the same story: a best friend’s birthday remembered a day late, an anniversary that snuck up, a parent’s milestone noticed only when the family group chat lit up. It’s never a lack of caring — it’s that human memory is a terrible database.
MyDate is a native mobile app with one job: remember every date that matters, and remind you at the moment you can still do something about it.
A reminder you can act on
The difference between a useful reminder and a useless one is timing. A notification on the day tells you it’s too late to post a card. MyDate nudges you at the right distance ahead — far enough to buy the gift, book the table or plan the call, and again on the day so nothing slips.
Add a date once and it’s handled forever: birthdays, anniversaries, memorials, renewals — anything that comes back around. The app keeps a calm, glanceable view of what’s ahead this week and this month, so a ten-second check on Sunday keeps you effortlessly ahead of everyone you care about.
Built the focused way
MyDate is part of a family of iOS apps we’ve built around a simple discipline: one genuinely useful job, done exceptionally well, with no feature clutter buried on top. You can read about how we build them in A Family of Focused iOS Apps.
MyDate is live on the App Store today — download it free, or visit its home at /mydate. It’s on Google Play for Android too.
