Privacy Policy

The short version. Breathr works entirely on your device. We have no user accounts, no ads, and no analytics that track you. We never sell or share your personal data, and nothing you enter is ever sent to us. The only data that leaves your phone is an anonymous crash report if the app malfunctions — plus any backup you or your phone makes to your own cloud account.

This policy explains how the Breathr: Quit Smoking mobile application ("Breathr", the "app") handles information. Breathr is published by NFT Atoms ("we", "us", "our"). It applies to the app on both the Apple App Store and Google Play.

1. Data stored on your device

To personalise your quit journey, Breathr stores the information you enter during onboarding and use of the app — your first name, smoking habits (such as cigarettes per day and years smoked), motivations, triggers, cravings you log, streaks, savings settings, and app preferences. All of this is kept in local storage on your device only. It is never uploaded to us or anyone else, and it is removed when you use "Reset all data" in Settings or uninstall the app.

2. Crash reports (Sentry)

If the app crashes, a diagnostic report may be sent to Sentry (sentry.io), our crash-reporting provider. This report contains technical information such as your device model, operating system version, and the error details. It does notinclude your name, smoking data, or anything you entered in the app. We use these reports solely to find and fix bugs. Sentry processes this data on our behalf under its own privacy terms (sentry.io/privacy).

3. Purchases

Breathr Pro subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never see or store your payment details. Your subscription status is verified with the store directly from your device. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your App Store or Google Play account settings.

4. Notifications

Reminders and milestone notifications are scheduled locally on your device. We do not operate a push-notification server, and notification content never leaves your phone.

5. Backups

Breathr can back up and restore your progress in two ways, both under your control. Your phone's built-in backup (Android Auto Backup or an iPhone/iCloud device backup) may copy the app's local data to your own cloud account so it can be restored if you reinstall or switch phones — you can turn this off in your device settings. You can also create a manual backup from Settings › Backup & Restore, which produces a file you choose where to save. We never receive any of this — backups go only to storage you own.

6. What we do not collect

  • No accounts, logins, email addresses, or passwords.
  • No advertising identifiers, and no third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.
  • No location tracking, contacts, photos, or microphone access.
  • No sale or sharing of personal information with third parties.

7. Children

Breathr is a smoking-cessation app intended for adults. It is not directed at, and must not be used by, anyone under 18 years of age.

8. Your choices & rights

Because almost everything lives on your device, you are in full control: edit your details in Settings, erase everything with "Reset all data", or uninstall the app to delete all locally stored data. To stop crash reporting entirely, uninstall the app. SeeDelete Your Data for step-by-step instructions and how to request deletion of any crash diagnostics. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data — contact us and we will help.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change how the app handles data, we will update this policy and the "Last updated" date above before the change takes effect.
