You can permanently delete your Pillpal account and everything associated with it at any time. There is no waiting period for the in-app method, and you do not need to contact us first.
1. Delete your account in the app
This is the fastest way. In Pillpal, go to Settings → Delete accountand confirm. Your account and all associated data are permanently removed from our servers, and the app's data on your device is wiped.
2. Request deletion by email
If you can't access the app — for example you've changed phones — emailapps@nftatoms.comwith the subject "Pillpal account deletion request", from the email address linked to your account. We verify the request against your sign-in identity, delete your server-side records, and confirm to you. Requests are honoured within 30 days.
What gets deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes the following from our servers:
- Your profile (name and email / sign-in identity)
- Your medications and dose schedules
- Your dose history (taken, skipped, snoozed)
- Inventory and supply records
- Device and push-notification token records
- Any optional contact details (such as a stored phone number)
The local copy of this data on your device is wiped at the same time.
Caregiver connections
If you were paired with a family member or a patient, deleting your account ends those connections. Dose activity you shared while connected stops syncing, and the other person no longer has access to your data.
Backups & retention
After deletion, a copy may persist briefly in routine encrypted backups before it is overwritten in the normal backup cycle. Nothing is retained for any further use, and backups are not restored once your account is deleted.
